A. Application and Screening Process

​

Information dissemination shall be undertaken by the Mayo's Office. All Applicants shall accomplish the prescribed Application Form in Duplicate. Pre- Screening of applicants shall be conducted by the Office of the Municipal Mayor and Public Employment Service Office upon submission of requirements. All applicants shall be pre-qualified as per eligibility criteria.

B. Qualifications

​

B.1. Assistance for Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Bansud Campus students - All Students from the municipality of Bansud who are presently enrolled or willing to enroll at the PUP-Bansud Campus shall be qualified to apply for educational assistance amounting Php 600.00 pesos monthly for 10 months of tuition and/ or miscellaneous fee in the university. The allowable grant term for this kind of assistance is maximum of Four (4) years.

Requirements for Availment:

​

a) Accomplished application form with two (3) pieces passport size ID picture

b) Official Enrollment Certificate or Statement of Accounts (1 original 1 photocopy)

c) 2 Copies of Senior High Grades from previous semester or latest grades

d) Punong Barangay's certification as to residency, good moral character and occupation of parents/ guardians (1 original 1 photocopy)

e) Certificate of Indigency from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) (1 original 1 photocopy)

Grounds for Termination of Educational Assistance

​

 1.   Failure in any subject

 2.   Incurring two (2) dropped subjects

 3.   Misrepresentation and falsification of submitted documents/ records

 4.   Violation of the school's rules and regulations where he/ she is enrolled as reported by the school authorities

B.2. Assistance for incoming and currently enrolled students in any accredited Private/ Public Colleges within Oriental Mindoro - All incoming and current enrolled students in any accredited private/ public colleges from the municipality shall be qualified to apply for an educational assistance amounting to not more than Three Thousand (P 3,000.00) pesos every semester for their allowances, tuition and miscellaneous fees in college within the maximum period of four (4) years.

B.3. Scholarship program for Skills Training at TESDA-SSVTC & Other TESDA Training Institution - All students, Out-of-School Youth (OSY) and unemployed who have aptitude for technical skills training shall be qualified to apply for a scholarship of maximum of Three Thousand (P 3,000.00) Pesos for tuition and miscellaneous fee and Five Hundred (P 500.00) Pesos monthly allowances for four months. Only one (1) training program will be granted for scholars.

b) Official Enrollment Certificate or Statement of Accounts (1 original 1 photocopy)

c) 2 Copies of Senior High Grades from previous semester or latest grades

B.4. Assistance for Assessment Fee -All students currently enrolled in any free skills training program at SSVTC - TESDA who needs/ or qualified for Assessment to gain their national competencies.

a) Accomplished application form with two (3) pieces passport size ID picture 

b) Certificate of Enrollment

c) Certification from the training provider that the student is qualified for assessment

d) Barangay Clearance

B.5. Assistance for graduate students who are willing to take Board Examinations - All graduate students who are willing to take Board Exam shall be qualified to apply for a one-time board examination assistance in the amount not exceeding Six Thousand (P 6,000.00) Pesos with statement of account from licensed review center. Payment shall be made directly to the review center and/ or beneficiaries.

a) Request letter addressed to Mayor (1 original 1 photocopy)

b) Accomplished application form with two pieces passport size ID picture (2 copies)

c) Photocopy of Transcript of Records (2 copies)

d) Official Receipt (2 photocopy)

e) Assessment of Fee/ Statement of Account from licensed Review Center/ Schools (1 original 1 photocopy)

f) Certificate of Indigence from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) (1 original 1 photocopy)

g) Barangay Certification as to Residency, Good moral and Occupation of parents/ guardian (1 original 1 photocopy)
